About the Blog

This blog was created as a navigation tool for those of us who have not had the luxury (well, luxury is a strong word) of studying American politics for the last 4 years, written by Undergrad or recently graduated Political Science students. This is not meant to be "hard academia", which can often be difficult for the average reader to understand. The posts written are written mostly from a working knowledge in a very informal manner, and any further information on the subjects can be found in the links. The articles are meant to be written from a non-biased, informative perspective that allows citizens to cut through the emotionally driven and highly-partisan media coverage and other information sources which often leave out the preliminary background or don't have time to elaborate.

That being said, if a reader feels as though any of the information on the site is incorrect or biased, they are encouraged to make their opinions heard by either writing in the comments box or sending an email to the editor at: asteinb1@mail.depaul.edu.

In addition to that, if you are a current Political Science, Law, Government, or International Studies Major, we'd encourage you to make your voice heard! Please submit any articles (your work only, please) to the editor at the aforementioned email address.

Thanks and happy voting this November!
